This is caused through the protocols that Outlook is using to connect to the IMAP server. Outlook uses a NOOP command and some servers don't accept this command by default. You can either change the way Outlook interacts with the server or allow the server to handle the NOOP commands.
[Solution 1] Disable automatic send/receive
- Open the Outlook app.
- Open File and click Options.
- Open Send/Receive... and untick Schedule an automatic send/receive every x minutes.
- Restart the Outlook app.
