Every time the computer is restarted, Windows no longer remembers the password for the network connection. This is caused by third-party software for the network driver during the start-up process.
[Solution 1] Turn off network adapter start-up programs
Windows 7
- Open Run and execute Msconfig
- Open Start-up and untick any software related to your ethernet or wireless network adapter.
- Select OK to save all changes.
- Re-enter the password for the network and restart the computer.
Windows 8 & 10
- Open Run and execute Taskmgr
- Open Start-up and select any software related to your ethernet or wireless network adapter and choose to Disable it.
- Re-enter the password for the network and restart the computer.
